GENERAL OVERVIEW

MARHABA is an elegant motor yacht built by OCEA in France, launched in 2007 and beautifully maintained since.

Conceived for family living, her classic yet contemporary lines were designed by the renowned naval architecture firm Joubert/Nivel.

MARHABA is both capable of hosting up to 10 guests in maximum comfort while relaxing on a summer cruise along the Mediterranean coastline; or handling challenging sea conditions for long voyages in complete safety. In fact, the first unit built of the successful 108 Commuter series completed a round the world family cruise during the first two years of her existence. She can cover over 4.000 nautical miles at ten knots, and has a maximum speed of 16 knots while the cruising speed is around 12 knots.

The interior volumes benefit from the vertical lines of the deckhouse and the great luminosity provided by the numerous windows.

The main deck features a large open-space saloon, a professional galley and the helm station.

The sleeping area, below the main deck, gives access to a full beam owners stateroom including a central double bed, a corner study and en-suite bathroom.

Moving forward we find two twin staterooms with single beds and a pullman; each with en-suite bathrooms.

In the bow, a VIP guest stateroom with two single bed and an en-suite head.

Aft of the Owners’ stateroom is the crew area.

There are two en-suite cabins with two berths each, one cabin with a single berth, laundry and crew mess.

Further aft we find a large engine room that houses the two 1000hp Caterpillar engines, derated to 485hp for greater range and sailing comfort and two 40kW Koehler generators.

Aft of the engine room is a generous size lazarette for storage which also hosts two very efficient Seakeeper Gyro stabilizers installed in 2010.

The exterior spaces on MARHABA are cleverly divided into three distinct areas that lend themselves to different uses by the owner and his guests.

Aft of the main deck, the traditional cockpit is furnished with an oval table. On the sides are two wide gangways protected by ample bulwarks that lead to the bow area where we find a well sheltered sofa sitting beneath the windows of the hem station.

In the bow area, the tender is stored on deck, with the crane and other water toys such as paddleboards and canoes plus a large custom-made cushion for sunbathing.

Walking a few steps up from the helm station there is the flybridge, the main area for outdoor life on board MARHABA. The dimensions are worthy of larger yachts and accommodate two areas: aft is the sunbathing with chairs; while forward, in the area covered by a T-top, is a large dining table and the exterior helm station in front of which there is a great sunbathing area.

MARHABA was repainted in 2014 in BOERO grey.
