ACCOMMODATIONS

GENERAL:

TAKE 5 shows superb teak joinery with recent soft good updates. As you board through the cockpit into the salon area: The interior is teak, with teak sole and upgraded wool carpet over teak wood floors throughout the boat.   The galley is located starboard forward of the salon on the main deck. Opposite the galley to port there is a day head, pantry storage, access to the pilothouse, and access down to the two guest cabins and engine room.   A passageway forward on the main deck leads to the master stateroom and en-suite head. Below deck, and amidships, there are two guest cabins (with en-suite heads), a companionway leads aft which has a stacked washer & dryer and a freezer. Next aft is the engine room. The pilothouse is accessed from the portside of the salon/galley area up via stairway. The bridge deck features pilothouse helm, Captain’s cabin, day head, and dinette aft of the 2 helm chairs and computer workstation. The pilothouse features steps to port providing interior access to the flybridge from the pilothouse. Port and Starboard side doors give access to the Portuguese bridge and boat deck.

SALON:

A custom dining table and six chairs are to port. An L-shape sofa and coffee table are located to starboard. Cabinetry with a pop up TV extend along the port side.   Wine refrigerator and wine storage cabinet to starboard along with a hanging locker and ship’s electrical panel. The salon’s teak sole currently features custom wool carpet (2013).   There are remote controlled Draper Motorized Flexshades on the windows tucked up under the teak valances and hideaway screens on the exit doors. There is port and starboard side access doors located in the salon.

GALLEY:

The Galley is on deck and is open for entertaining. A lighted overhead cabinet faces the salon for additional storage. The galley is well appointed with ample counter space. The salon is has a breakfast bar with 3 fixed stools.

MASTER STATEROOM:

Master is virtually an on-deck master with minimum steps separating main deck and master. The king-size bed is on centerline with access all around the bed.   There are 4 cedar lined closets, 3 open deck hatches w/ shades, 4 opening ports behind sliding Soji screens.   SleepSure custom 10” foam California king mattress with Tempur-Pedic top. Soundown installed under the master carpet area, to ensure noise level is up most quiet. New carpet as of 2013. The very large en-suite head has a bathtub, shower, single sink, and vanity with a stool and towel runner. There are 4 opening ports.

GUEST STATEROOMS:

Two guest staterooms are located on the lower deck. The port guest cabin has a double berth, with hanging locker and drawer storage.   There is an en-suite head with shower, tile floor, and granite countertops. To starboard, the VIP guest stateroom cabin has SleepSure Custom 10” foam California king mattress with Tempur-Pedic top mattress, cabinets with sliding Shoji screens covering opening ports. En-suite head with tub and shower, tile floor and granite countertops. Both guest staterooms feature teak sole and carpet. There are heat and air-conditioning controls in each stateroom. New carpet as of 2013.

ENGINE ROOM

Per Nordhavn, there is an extensive noise control and sound attenuation measures incorporated into the construction throughout, including noise damping in the hull in the area of the propellers.   The main engines dry exhaust system results in engine sound reduction on deck as well as in the interior living spaces. Engine room and mechanical spaces are typical of Nordhavn – efficient engine and systems layouts with easy inspection service access and walk-up access to the generators. There are engine and systems monitoring modules, an electronic engine control, and work bench with sink, vise and a built-in six drawer tool chest. The engine room connects with the cockpit lazarette through a water-tight aluminum door for all-conditions access to steering gears, mechanical and electrical systems, battery banks, air conditioning, Kabola hot water system, heating boiler, and other gear that may be stowed in the large volume of space there. Engine room ventilation systems include: (2) 230vac 50/60hz exhaust blower, Ruskin fire/smoke dampers, and auto shutdown for blowers and closure for dampers by Seafire Actuation. The lazarette is well illuminated by AC and DC overhead lighting with additional lighting installed in both the lazarette and engine room.   Delta fans added in the lazarette.
